Hey there, I've been looking through old threads, but couldn't find one where everyone can say something about themselves. So I thought I'd make one.. and while I'm at it, I'll go first. I'm a 22 year-old girl from Utrecht, the Netherlands. Saw Delorentos live at Oxegen this year while I was visiting Ireland for the first time (certainly not the last). Went to get the cd in Dublin and been in love with it ever since. Right now I'm trying to compensate my lack of Delo-concerts over here with reading everything available (like this board). To be honest, reviews of Irish gigs make me a bit jealous. But I'll just have to wait patiently I guess. In the meantime if anyone has some nice (spicy?) info on the band.. it'll make my waiting a lot easier I'm a (struggling) musician myself. I'm trying to find a balance between my two passions (science and music). I recently got a piano for my student's room, so I should have a lot more time now to write songs. Don't hold me to any promises, because I should also graduate this year That's me, hope to read about you guys too! Klaartje

Well I'm Niall, also known as Les but don't ask. I'm 19, go to DIT, doing a journalism course. (Don't worry lads you'll always get a good review ) I've been a fan of the Delo's since I was told about them by a friend at a BellX1 gig. Seen them 4 times this year and hopefully twice more this month. Klaartje, I know you from the SP Forum, well I don't know you but I know you're on it. I'm quite the regular there too. I'm "niallswan" if you werw wondering.

Hello, fellow SP forum-er here (are we seeing a pattern?!) I'm Kathy, I'm 23 and from just outside of Belfast. The other day I was trying to remember where I'd heard about Delorentos first but I honestly can't remember. I know the first time I saw them live was when Bell x1 played at Mandela Hall and they supported along with Simple Kid. Since then I've seen them at Oxegen twice, Glasgowbury and Auntie Annies, think that's it. And on Sunday it'll be another time to add to the list. Cannae wait!

Hey Nial, do remember you from the SP-board as well. Kathy, are you the Oh Yeah Kathy? It seems like half of the people on that board are called either Kathy or Katy or something, so I'm completely confused

Introduction eh? Okeydokes. Well...I'm Jennie. The youngest poster so far.. *sigh*. Yes...yes I am still in school. But it's my last year...so shhhh... Hmmm... Leaving Cert= uninteresting, unemployed life. Ahem... First heard of the Delos sometime in early/mid 2006...I think. Anyway. Followed them around (literally) for a considerable portion of the year so far.... Oh the brilliance!

I'm Laura/Lola/Dawsiee and Anna's new one, Lula. Also Shambola by Darren. You know, I'm very unsure of my identity right now!
I'm 19 and a half. Just started Uni in Maynooth, and so far its been GREAT!! ANd AND *this is to make Oisin jealous* Delo's are playing at Freshers week!!!
I first saw Delo's in the Big Top last year with The Brian Crosby Experience,ie Bell x1. Even though Kierans hair was a little dodgy, I was like, "WOAH MAN!!" I've been a fully fledged fan *some nice alliteration!* ever since! I was in the Eustace St vid, well, my arse was, not everyone got a cameo like "rug boy"!! I was also in the Stop video, as they filmed some at Oxegen and my HIDEOUS white headband can be seen at the front! Therefore, I am famous.
