I think its brilliant! and its a FACT! I mean.. ye know.... The hole thing of Mary sleeping with god and JOseph being her best gay buddy.... and because both being gay and child outta wed lock back then where very very bad... They supported each other and got married.. Mary gave him sexual freedom and visa versa but then what happend was people go suspicious of JOe being gay and all. Carpenter = playing with wood. Ye know.. so they then called it the "Immaculate Conception"... I think due to the fact that because Joe was the only gay in the village that people knew.. he was a virgin really so he was more clean than any one else...
The whole 3 kings thing was just a freak accident... Mary and JOe had nowhere to stay and the only place available was that stable.. and the these 3 rich guys came along wo were in the same situation and asked could they stay with them too because the place was so big.. and in return gave them some presents for the new baby.
*I just wrote something similar into my play haha this sounds slightly better though so ill keep it*
