Hey, looking forward to the all ages gig in Cork, I think it was meant to be a secret though. They usuall keep the line-up all hush hush and they haven't put it up on their website.

Indievidual: July 2nd, 2.00 pm, Cyprus Avenue, 10, All-Ages Coolaboola Events presents: The Blizzards, Delorentos, Loose Change Summer is here and exams are almost over, so It's time to shake out your feet at Coolaboola Event's latest installment of Indie-vidual featuring: The Blizzards Signed to a major label at the beginning of this year, these guys from Mullingar have already wowed crowds at Oxegen, V festivals across England and The Faction '01 tour. With a self-released top 20 single & their recent No 6 hit TROUBLE already under their belt, one can only assume that to play a Coolaboola gig would be the obvious next step :-D www.theblizzards.ieDelorentos Last years winners of the British National Student Music funded the recently released ep Leave it On. Their latest single 'The Rules' went to number 14 in the Irish charts in its first week. Catch them at their only specificly all-ages gig this summer at Indie-vidual www.delorentos.netLoose Change This young band from Cork recently played their first gig at Blast in May, however they have been playing together since 2004. They have been featured on Stevie G's "Teenage Thursdays" on Red FM and their mix of rock and twisted sense of humour seems to be attracting a lot of interest amonst the young indie-viduals of Cork . www.loosechangemusic.4t.com (check out the band bio's for examples of twisted sense of humour)! Tickets available SOON! www.coolaboola.tk

Oh ya the electricity was acting up again. I think Loose change had the same problem.

Great gig in Cypres Ave with The Blizzards and Loose Change, pity about poor attendance due to excellent sunshine outside venue and also pity about the intermittant technical problems with Ronan's amp but a great day of music had by all.Did anyone notice Jakob Dylan from the Wallflowers with Noel Redding, former bassist with The Jimi Hendrix Experience and two other guys who looked very like a guitarist and vocalist that I saw playing in Temple Bar Music Centre one night four years ago with a band that I just can't for the life of me remember what they were called at the time,is it true that one of these two lads is now a fully fledged A&R man for a major label? See you all at next gig!

yes shadow u are right!!!!! I only stayed at the all ages gig briefly, had to run off to see another band, but i did notice those 4 lads at the back and yes one of them was indeed Jakob accompanied by Noel Redding,Eric ? and some other unknown, all 4 were also spotted in De Barras on Sat nite before all ages gig.The unknown guy there with the German army shirt is indeed a record company guy, also spotted at various music industry bashes here and there, but hes with some indie label I think and not a major label as u report shadow,so my good friend Kim tells me anyway and she should know since she works for Sony Music and gets about the place to all manner of music shindigs.Liked what I heard from Delorentos, the guys are cool and have a great sound!Just gotta see a lot more of them.
