I saw the band a few years back at the errigle in belfast supporting yakuza, and as far as i can remember were a far different band, at this stage they were yet to record anything and were looking for gigs, but were blinding, best band on the night, raw, fast, and energetic, chaotic almost, but they seem to have lost that, has the music changed that much? thanks for the time..... Hi Dave, Hopefully we have those qualities still going on. That gig was in December 2004, so the music has certainly developed and changed since then - we'd like to think for the better! We're playing Belfast next in Auntie Annies on May 2nd, come and have a listen, see for yourself! thanks for the note, K

hiya Icarus - yeah, the flaws are a great band and cool guys to boot (check them out on http://www.theflaws.com), and the spirit store is a great place to play! ;D Ross Ro and Níal are all DCU schooled - its a good spot - hopefully you get the points in the aul LC coming up! the gigs have been announced - they're up in the gigs section of the site as well as the myspace - www.myspace.com/delorentos . Delorentos are amongst the line-up for the fourth series of RTE 2's music show "Other Voices: Songs from a Room"
The show has in the past featured Steve Earle, The Chalets, American Music Club, Republic of Loose, Gemma Hayes, Damien Rice, The Frames, the Jimmy Cake, and The Handsome Family.
The series is being recorded over eight nights in St James' Church, Dingle from 9 to 16 December and will debut on RTÉ Two in January.
Capacity at St James' Church is limited to 70 each night and tickets are €25.

A limited number of tickets will go on sale at noon, Friday 2nd December.
