Niall, but you can call me anything <3 Apologies! Can I even call you snuggle bunny? <3 Oh my god.. darren is back... he must be bored! Slightly bored. I'm back now, so point me in the direction of Griff, so I can go call him a dickhead! Can someone update on me what's been going on with the band in the last 8 months? New album anytime soon?

hmm I dunno if I ever posted on this thread? I live in Portland, Oregon; one of the huge wave of Seattle peeps that've moved down here to escape the Manhattan-wannabe of the pacific northwest. Yup this is my 'real' name, and yup I know it isn't grammatically correct Gaeilge-wise x) I'm an audio-mixer dood... ran a studio in Seattle from about '91-'04, discovered I have parkinson's (no biggie now), so shifted my energies from doing full-on sessions towards doing final mixing & mastering. Spent 1/3 of '03 in Ireland due to the overwhelming kindness of Mr. Kieran & did some demo work for the fellas in the pre-Ronan days, along with a bunch of other great bands (and a couple I'll not name)... since then I've loved working via the 'net or here in PDX with the Dudley Corpo, Large Mound, Yakuza, and others. The quality of original music coming out of Portland or Seattle (or Chicago or Austin or where-fkn-ever) have NOTHING on what I'm constantly hearing come out of Ireland. The level of creativity, talent, hard work and ABOVE ALL great music being made in Ireland is second to none. If I could sell my house to promote Irish bands here (without it ending my marriage x) ) I'd do it in a second. Hah, as maudlin as this may have all sounded I'll state for the record that I'm completely sober... my only point here is that talented, quality bands deserve wider recognition. So, that's me then

I feel really welcome now because of delorentos.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=music&action=display&thread=511 Thanks ilwd Hi, my name is Damon, 17 (shhhhhh! if you see me at a Delos concert). Been into Delorentos since early last year, loved their sound the second I heard them. My love for them was finally confirmed when they showed up in the freezing cold at Christmas to play for the radio show my mother produces, no one expected them to show but they did! Been gradually getting into the Irish music scene for the past 2 years. Started with Codes, which led me to Hazels youtube channel and it all just went from there! Great to see the lads got on well in Spain, next album is gonna be great if Bullet in a Gun is anything to go by.

So I suppose since I am here posting stuff and there seems to be a load of people introducing/reintroducing themselves I might aswell introduce myself. Hello! As my name would suggest I am indeed Fiona. I am a relatively new convert compared to most of you. Due to Secret I saw them at the Academy last March and have been hooked ever since. Oddly though, when I started to YouTube them and stuff I realised that they have always kinda been there I just never investigated them. I remember seeing the Basis of Everything on tv at some stage way back. And I also remember hearing about them breaking up/not breaking up on the radio and reading all about it in Jenny Huston’s book..... I just never put 2 and 2 together to get a great band....until now! So anyway I am here now and enjoying it. And I’m loving Bullet in a Gun and can’t wait for the new album I think that’s enough for the time being, unless there is anything else you feel you need to know? Nice meeting yis all ;D
