We've got some sad news.
It's with a very heavy heart that we have to let you know that Ronan has decided to leave the band. He feels its best for him to move on and do other things. The three of us will still be making music and will let you know about what happens next.
As our songs always came from the four of us playing together we've also decided that it wouldn't feel right to continue "delorentos" without him.
We're all very proud of the songs we've written over the last year, we feel they're some of the best we've ever done, and as a result we're determined not to discard them or let them go.
Next month, the four of us are going to record this album together and plan on making it something we'll all be proud of. It'll be our last collection of songs as delorentos, and we hope you'll like them.
We want to thank everyone that's supported us since we started, and all the friends we made, we'd never have gotten this far without you. We hope to play a gig or two to say goodbye.
We'll be in touch soon with more details.
Ross, Níal and Kieran and Ro.

I'm very sad about this news But I do understand that it doesn't matter how big your band is or is going to be, if you feel you have to do something else you have to be able to make this decision. I'll definitely be flying over for goodbye(gig)s.

Ah No way!!!sugar!! News has come as some shock here! You guys have some amazing songs and seemed quite tight but i fullly understand that it's not a good thing to have a member of the band who does not want to play anymore. It's a sad day for us die hard Delo fans! But hopefully the new album can knock those blues away! Keep truckin!

Awh, I'm absolutely devastated to hear this I'm in the category who really can't believe it! Guys, you're great. Your music IS amazing, and your gigs have been some of the best experiences ever. I can safely say you're up there in my favourite band, and the only band I'd ever travel the whole way around the country to see! Which I'm now very very happy I did! It's a woeful pity, but hopefully you'll all go on to bigger and better things. (Is this even possible? Snifff) I'm really looking forward to the album, and you can certainly count me in for the goodbye tour! Wouldn't miss it for anything. Except maybe the Leaving Cert, so if ye could avoid the start of June that'd be great

f*ck!!!! Ah, I'm so disappointed. I really thought you had what it takes to make it out of Ireland and make some waves everywhere else. I'll be supporting you guys with whatever you decide to go into!
All the best,
Ronan

Gutted. Absolutely gutted.
I listened to the album in full again the other day and realised how much I missed not seeing you guys live and got really excited about the next album. I still am excited but it has been slightly tainted by the knowledge it'll be your last.
Your music is and has been an inspiration to me and I sincerely hope that you all succeed in whatever you do. You're all such down to earth and level headed lads I know you'll go on to better things.
We'll all be there for as many gigs on the final tour as we can. We're gonna give you the send off you truly deserve.
Kieran, Ross, Níal and Ro. Thanks for the memories.

I really dont know what to say guys.... i feel so sad and yet i understand Ro's decision.... I really am gutted though... its been 4 years that im following you guys and i have loved every! second of it!
Why do the best bands have to break up though??? Its highly unfair! Even though i know there will be a new band coming out of it...
This really does break my heart....
