Really, really love Nial's vocals and Let The Light Go Out in general. Sounds like a different band! :-)

Having listened to it about ten times now I've come to the conclusion that it's a fantastic album, sounds beautiful with the perfect balance of swagger and solemnity. Leave me Alone and Let the Light Go Out seem to obiously point out the hard times which the band went through earlier this year and late last year. These are the songs I've taken to heart already because we all felt almost as much pain during these times. Editorial is a fantastic tune. Love the "We hate the silence!" Secret as we all know is so vastly different to what the lads have done before yet it fits in seamlessly. Hallucinations, Sanctuary and Soulmate are so full of the energy we have all come to know and love with this band. I could have thought of something more original if I really tried but, They Truly Can Make Sound. Well done to Ronan, Kieran, Níal and Ross. A fantastic record which you should all be very proud of. Looking forward to two years worth of gigging now.

Listen to the guitar on Hallucinations... anybody else reminded of Dark Side of The Matinee by Franz Ferdinand? its funny I thought Waiting sounded like Michael by Franz.. they have to be influenced

Very Franz Ferdinand-ish.. Have to say I like there strange robotic noises in the backround of Hallucinations..and the way it drifts off at the end

And to use a cliché 3 worded sentence....... OH MY GOD!
I left the album on repeat all night and only stopped a couple hours ago to watch Carrie..
I got slightly confused cos for some reason i thought Nial was supposed to sing I Remember.. but i think i was just drunk and mixed up details in my head (apologies Ross).
I cant say anything bad about it... the programming in any of the songs is just enough to be heard but not enough to pull away from the vocals and instruments.. nicely subtle underneath.
Nials voice on track 8 " Let the light out" really reminds me a bit like the guy from Sigur Ros on Hoppípolla but thats probably just me.
the drums at the very beginning of Soulmate remind me of an 80's song but i cant put my finger on it...
My least favourite is "Say Youll never lover her" i like it but not as much as the rest of the album...
